The 23rd Extraordinary Congress of the Kurdistan National Congress was held on Saturday, during which several speeches were made by delegates, representatives of political parties and other participants.

On the first day of the conference, PUK representative Areez Abdullah, Kurdistan Free Life Party representative Siamand Mwani, Horman Platform representative Jalanah Horman, East Kurdistan representative, Komal Adel Ilyasi, and Assyrian representative Yaqub Mirza spoke on the first day.

On behalf of the PUK, Areez Abdullah read the PUK's message to the Kurdistan National Congress.

The PUK. In the letter, the PUK emphasized the importance of resolving issues in Turkey and North Kurdistan, and the need to find common ground at the political and diplomatic levels. The letter reads:

 "A negotiating table must be set up and a strong will must be shown to reach a peaceful solution." The letter noted that the PUK supports the KRG's call to form a national unity government.

The letter recalled that building national unity and internal political balance is crucial to protect the gains of the Kurdish people: "In this historic process, participation to protect the rights and status of the Kurdish people is crucial. Only through a strong partnership can the gains in the four parts of Kurdistan be preserved."

Speaking on behalf of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Badran Çiya Kurd said that leader Abdullah Öcalan's call on February 27 was the beginning of an important era not only for Northern Kurdistan, but for the entire Kurdish people. Badran Çiya Kurd said: "The start of negotiations in Damascus is due to the influence of leader Apo's call. "The fact that many political forces, notables, and parties participated in the National Congress in Qamishlo shows the strength of this call. Badran Çiya Kurd emphasized that the Kurdish people have waged a great struggle in Rojava over the past 15 years and have developed a model for a solution.

Women's leadership is at the center of this process and a model of democratic values has been formed. Badran Çiya Kurd noted that the struggle and gains in Rojava were achieved with the sacrifices of the Kurdish youth from the four parts, and added: "Rojava has reached this day with the blood of the Kurdish youth from the four parts. These gains belong not only to its own people, but to all the Kurdish people."

Sultan Oker then spoke on behalf of the Kurdish Women's Movement. Sultana Oker praised leader Abdullah Ocalan's call for peace and a democratic society and said that the political processes that have developed on the basis of this call and the changes in the Middle East constitute a historic moment for the Kurds.

Sultan Oker emphasized the need for unity to protect the gains made so far and ensure the status of the Kurdish people: "We must not waste this historic opportunity. Protecting the gains made in the four parts and seizing new opportunities is possible through joint struggle and national unity."

Hikmet Sarbilind, head of the Kurdistan Islamic Party, spoke at the conference and emphasized that the Kurdish people have made great achievements through struggle and sacrifices, and called on all parties and organizations to work together to protect these gains and ensure national unity.

Kurdish National Congress delegates from the south, west, and Russia, who were unable to attend the conference due to visa issues, participated in the conference via teleconference and delivered speeches.

The conference continues today with speeches, discussions, and proposals by delegates and participants on the second and final day of the conference.
