Clashes between Turkish mercenaries, tribe in Serê Kaniyê countryside
Armed clashes broke out between Turkish occupation mercenaries and the “Adwan” tribe in the countryside of the occupied city of Serê Kaniyê, amid escalating security tensions in the area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that armed clashes erupted between Turkish occupation-backed mercenaries and the “Adwan” tribe in the countryside of the occupied city of Serê Kaniyê, following what was described as “an assault on women.”
So far, no accurate information has been reported regarding the number of casualties or further details about the course of the clashes. It is worth noting that areas occupied by the Turkish army and its mercenaries have, over the past years, witnessed a series of crimes and violations documented by human rights organizations. These include killings, forced displacements, and looting of property, in addition to ongoing attempts at demographic change through the displacement of indigenous populations and the resettlement of families linked to ISIS mercenaries and other pro-Turkish factions.
