A general strike continues in the occupied town of Suluk for the third consecutive day, protesting the violations and attacks committed by the Turkish occupation's "National Army" mercenaries against the town's residents over the past two days.

Local sources reported that the strike is still ongoing, including markets and schools, until the residents' demands are met, the expulsion of the "Suqur al-Sunna" mercenaries from the town and the accountability of those responsible for the attacks.

Suluk mercenaries executed two young men from the town of Suluk earlier yesterday, after arresting them following recent tensions between the al-Na'im clan and the aforementioned faction.

This brings the death toll on both sides to six: five members of the al-Na'im clan and one member of the "Suqur al-Sunna" mercenaries.

Since Thursday morning, the town has witnessed a general strike in markets and the closure of schools, amid heightened tensions in the area.

The events also led to a wave of displacement, with the number of displaced families estimated at more than 20, heading towards the Suluk countryside and the occupied Tal Abyad area
