The people of Kobani shared their views on the right to hope and the isolation imposed on Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Wahida Seyid Ahmed saluted Leader Abdullah Ocalan, imprisoned in Imrali, stressing the need for human rights organizations to take action to secure his physical release. She said, "It's time to achieve the leader's physical freedom, as he has been in isolation for many years. The Turkish state is imposing this isolation to distance him from his people, but the truth is that his ideas are deeply rooted in the nation's conscience, and the people and their leader can never be separated."

In the same context, Jihan Bozan emphasized that the Turkish state's talk of peace does not reflect reality, as the leader has been imprisoned for more than 26 years in an attempt to isolate the people from him. She added, "We, the people of Kobani and all freedom advocates, will continue our struggle for the freedom of the leader until he returns to us and we can embrace him."

Jihan also emphasized that the time has come to grant Leader Abdullah Ocalan the right to hope.

Haji Kulakhazi emphasized that those who have spent more than 26 years in prison deserve the right to hope, but the Turkish state continues to violate all legal and humanitarian standards. He added, "The eyes of all peoples and communities in the Middle East are directed toward the gate of Imrali, hoping to achieve the physical freedom of the leader, so that we may celebrate his return among us with eagerness and enthusiasm."
